Photographs, 1952-1964.

Original photographs by Kendall of major climbs during the 1950s and 1960s in California's Yosemite Valley and the Pinnacles National Monument, the European Alps, the Himalaya, and Peru. Included are portraits of J.D. (bj) Bjorken, Riccardo Cassin, Hobey DeStaebler, Tom Frost, John Harlin, Gary Hemming, Bill Pope, Gil Roberts, Gaston Rébuffat, and also portraits of Kendall by Tom Frost. There is some correspondence between Kendall and Rawlings, and several articles about Kendall and his expeditions.
